The City of Malden seeks candidates for the position of part time Assistant City Solicitor. Assists the City Solicitor with a variety of legal matters including cases and claims through all stages of litigation and/or adjudicatory proceedings, including any appeals. The qualified candidate must have a JD degree from an accredited law school, be a member in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar, admitted to practice before Massachusetts state and federal courts. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, deadline driven, organized individual with excellent writing and analytical skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple cases and assignments.
