By-law Amendment

At this meeting, members will be asked to vote on a proposed amendment to MMLA’s by-laws regarding the date of the annual business meeting and election. The by-laws require that the meeting be held on the fourth Thursday of April and that members be given at least seven days notice of the meeting. The proposed amendment would require the meeting to be held between April 1 and June 30 at a date fixed by the Executive Board and that members be given at least 20 days notice of the meeting. If members approve the amendment, the 2019 annual meeting and election will be held on May 15, 2019.  Click here for the full text of the proposed by-law amendment.
