What is Listserv LIVE:

This is an open forum for MMLA members to discuss any municipal law issues or questions
Bring questions you may be stumped on or that you would normally post to the listserv. This is an opportunity to discuss with colleagues and get/give live input.
If you don’t have a question, bring a story or a topic that you recently learned about that you think other municipal lawyers may appreciate.

Members can register for the event at the link below. Registration is encouraged for planning but not required. A Zoom link will also be emailed out the morning of the event so even if you do not register you can drop in last minute for however long you are able! April Webinar Program - Environmental Law Update (15 Apr 2026)

Our April monthly lunch and learn webinar will be held on Wednesday, April 15th at noon. This months topic will be Environmental Law Updates. We will hear from Greg McGregor of McGregor Law Group PC on key developments in environmental, land use, real estate, energy, and climate law affecting municipalities.

Please note that this webinar will also serve as an MMLA meeting. The first reading of proposed Bylaw amendments will take place at the beginning of the meeting, prior to the environmental law update. The vote on the proposed amendments will take place at the MMLA Annual Business Meeting later this spring.

Save the date for MMLA's 2026 Annual Conference. This year we are returning to the South Coast to the "Whaling City" of New Bedford on Thursday and Friday, October 1 and 2, 2026. The conference will be at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in historic downtown New Bedford on the waterfront, with our programming events taking place at the adjoining Waypoint Event Center. Arrive early and stay late as there is lots of stuff to do and sights to see in the area, including the Whaling Museum and the Whaling National Historic Park.
