City of Westfield Seeks Assistant City Solicitor

The City of Westfield Law Department is seeking a qualified attorney for the position of Assistant City Solicitor.  Under the general direction of City Solicitor, the Assistant City Solicitor will be responsible for varied professional legal work such as drafting of legal documents, advising municipal appointed and elected officials, and representing City’s interests in a variety of legal forums. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and eligible to practice in Federal Court. 1-3 years litigation experience required, municipal law experience preferred. Availability and attendance at evening meetings will be required, as needed. Westfield residents encouraged to apply.
