Side-by-Side Comparison of CLURPA Text With Provisions of Existing Statutes

Note: This document is intended to provide a helpful comparison between CLURPA and current zoning, subdivision control, and land use planning statutes. It has been prepared by Attorney Tyler Soleau Esquire for State Senator Jamie Eldridge. The reader is advised that this is a “best effort” to contrast each provision of CLURPA with the roughly corresponding provision(s) of the existing statutes on the same topic. We believe the quoted sections of existing laws are complete and accurate; but, as with any restatement of existing law, the reader is strongly advised to refer to the official text of General Laws Chapter 40A; Chapter 41, Section 81D and Sections 81K through 81GG.[April 5, 2011]
